100th Anniversary Members Party!

All Museum members and staff were invited to this birthday celebration — with cake! After a presentation by Mayor Lauren Poe and Museum Director Doug Jones, members enjoyed snacks and beverages, and music from the amazing Little Jake & the Soul Searchers.

We had science-y activities and games throughout the permanent exhibits, and special after-hours access to the Butterfly Rainforest and our Frogs! exhibit. And because museum staff and scientists were also invited, there was quite a lot of chatter about our current research, the fantastic objects on display, and the history of the Museum. We also had a virtual reality graffiti wall and a real live station to leave messages.
