These images represent 32 different types of Caddoan pottery recovered from archaeological sites in Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana.
The sherds from this type collection were donated to the University of Florida in the 1950s and 1960s from the Stoval Museum at the University of Oklahoma, the Anthropology department at the University of Texas, the Texas Archaeological Research Laboratory (TARL), and Dr. Clarence Webb. Type names generally follow Suhm and Jelks 1962. We welcome updates and feedback on these images.
