The Digital Imaging division produces a range of products derived from specimens housed at the Florida Museum of Natural History.  Our data policy choices are dictated by the Florida Museum mission statement to Understand, preserve and interpret biological diversity and cultural heritage to ensure their survival for future generations. The ongoing digitization of our collections has greatly increased the reach of these valuable specimens, and our policies are designed to maximize access while retaining a single source of truth (SSOT) for the datasets.
