What
Administrative and Outreach Interns contribute to our mission in many ways, including:
- Assistance with memberships and inventory
- Grant and fundraising research
- Assist with social media accounts
- Assistance with education and outreach efforts
- Aid in event planning, advertising, and execution
The Florida Springs Institute (FSI) is looking for a dedicated and responsible individual to fill the position of “Administrative & Outreach Intern” from September 6th, 2023 through November 22nd, 2023. During this period, interns are expected to provide approximately 10-15 hours per week of assistance to FSI staff at our office located in High Springs.
Qualifications
Applicants would ideally have experience in the following fields, however it is not required:
- Working with multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and MailChimp
- Coursework in communications, digital media, marketing, environmental sciences, and/or advertising
- Grant/funding searches and grant writing
- Speaking to members of the public
- A passion for environmental education!
