The Future Leaders’ Climate Summit will gather around 200 young and diverse leaders from around the world for 2.5 days to discuss climate policy, communications, advocacy, and individual action and leadership. The Future Leaders will work to develop ideas and recommendations for wicked problems facing their communities today, from mitigating climate change to adapting to extreme weather impacts, to preparing for a rapidly changing world that likely will include more political unrest, forced migration, and security issues.

The Active Learning Program (ALP) is a 1-semester internship and research program that connects eager, well-trained undergraduate students with UF faculty and community mentors engaged in internship and research projects.

This Annual Symposium offers a full day of presentations and interaction with over 200 of Southwest Florida’s land managers, contractors, consultants, educators, and landowners. The workshop is FREE for students.
