Take the challenge to protect Gainesville’s natural areas! The Gainesville Greenway Challenge (GGC) is a year-round effort to restore the natural habitat in Gainesville by removing invasive plant species that threaten ecosystem health. Join the challenge and help us eradicate the region’s most aggressive invasive plants in Gainesville’s nature parks.

The Alfred A. Ring Park clean-up will occur @9AM on Thursday, Friday 15, 2024. Please meet in the parking lot at 9 am and bring the following:

  • Long pants
  • Close toed shoes
  • Water
  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • Gloves
