Workshop on Working Towards Zero Waste

The Repurpose Project

Description

Mark your calendars for January 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. as we open our community center with a workshop on Zero Waste! Led by Amanda Waddle, who is the Director of Zero Waste at The Repurpose Project and Co-Chair of Zero Waste Gainesville, this workshop will show you the simple things you can do in your life to work towards minimizing your waste. At the end of the presentation, we will have supplies available for you to create your own zero-waste kit to take home with you. Please park along 18th Terrace and carpool when possible – our parking lot gets full very fast! To help us run our new event space, we are asking for a $10-$25 donation so that we can provide more workshops to our community. This donation covers the materials, staff, space, and promotion of the event. For more information on Zero Waste Week, go to http://www.zerowastegainesville.com.
