We engage undergraduate students, graduate students, and early career scholars in year-round activities (e.g., a river trip, R workshop, and graphic design workshop) and professional development, beginning with attendance at the SFS Annual Meeting.

The Instars and Emerge programs plan to support SFS Annual Meeting and year-round activity expenses for participants at the 2023 SFS Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting is June 3-7, 2023 in Brisbane, Australia.
