The graduate students at the UF Whitney Lab are proud to announce the opportunity to experience their 8th annual Science by the Shore Symposium!

Join us on Saturday, September 14th, from 10 AM to 7:30 PM, for a day filled with scientific exploration and networking opportunities.  Here’s what you can expect:

  • Engage in your presentation style of choice (presentation options below) to showcase your work while immersing yourself in the fascinating science presented by your peers.
  • Enjoy the serene St. Augustine Beach, estuary, UF Sea Turtle Hospital tour, and UF’s own remote marine satellite research station, participate in networking, and savor breakfast, lunch, and dinner – all included in the $30 registration fee!
  • Choose from regular talks (8 minutes + 2 minutes Q&A), lightning talks (3 minutes + 2 minutes Q&A, 3 slides max), or posters with specified dimensions (max: 46 by 46). Compete in each category for recognition and a prize!!
