Position description
The Ambrosia Symbiosis Project is seeking a student assistant to generate an image training set for the Artificial Intelligence beetle classifier. We need someone to take a few hundred photos of bark beetles for our neural networks to train for recognizing species. We are a young, dynamic research lab here on campus. We provide a creative environment, lots of nerdy discussions, and free snacks.
Eligibility
- UF Student in good standing
- No special experience is necessary, though experience with macro photography and/or coding will be a bonus.
