Description

Join us for the 10th Annual Great Invader Raider Rally, formerly the Great Air Potato Round-Up, to clean up our conservation areas as part of one of the largest invasive plant awareness events in the nation!

We strongly encourage those wanting to be assigned at the same site to register once as a group. If you do not, there is a strong possibility that you will not be assigned to the same area.

Things to Remember on the Day of the Event (Saturday, February 24, 2024):
-Meet your site leader at your designated site at 9 a.m. (details to come in email).
-Come prepared with long pants, gloves, closed-toe shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
-There may not be any bathroom facilities at your site, so plan accordingly.

-After pulling invasive plants at your site, please join us at Morningside Nature Center for a celebration with environmental tables, information on ‘alter-native’ plants, a tree giveaway (while supplies last), food trucks (food available for purchase), and music from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.!

Can’t join us for the day of the event? Join us for other clean-up opportunities here.
