Description

GROW HUB is a 501c3 not-for-profit plant nursery supporting the lives of adults living with disabilities. The campus provides a little something for everyone, including retail sales, nursery stock management, gardening, landscape maintenance, equipment repairs, seed saving, plant sales, art classes, and yoga workshops.

Volunteer areas include:

  • Staff Community Garden maintenance (e.g. planting, fertilizing, harvesting, record keeping)
  • Community outreach and special events (e.g. farmer’s markets, pop-up shops, community skillshares)
  • Plant care and maintenance (e.g. watering, fertilizing, pruning, up-potting, weeding)
  • Native plant propagation (e.g. seeding, cuttings)
  • Administrative (e.g. printing/organizing labels, updating inventory lists)
