Description

Hands-on experience working with youth in outdoor education, interacting with families during public fishing events, or behind-the-stage support of a long-established outdoor youth education program. An opportunity to get experience, learn the biology of our aquatic environment, and make a difference in the lives of youth in Gainesville and surrounding counties.

Why should students participate?

Students will gain hands-on experience working with youth in outdoor education settings. Volunteers will learn a great deal about the aquatic environment. You will gain experience working with youth and the public. We are a non-profit, and volunteering with us is an excellent extracurricular on a CV, and provides opportunities for networking with professors and scientists in the Fisheries field.
