Description
The Natural Resource Diversity Initiative (NRDI) supports research experiences and networking opportunities for students from various backgrounds in order to help students advance their careers in the field of conservation and science.
The Natural Resources Diversity Initiative (NRDI) will be awarding a grant of $500 to 2 undergraduates conducting research within the fields of
- Wildlife, conservation, and natural resource use
- Resource management, water and soil science
- Environmental education and outreach
- Biology related to ecology, taxonomy, behavior, or evolution
The grant recipient(s) will be awarded $500 each to cover a variety of expenses that they may need for their project ranging from materials, to travel, to conference registration (but not personal expenses).
Upon completion of the project the recipient will be required to present a research poster or presentation at any of the following events including:
- a Regional or National conference
- WEC seminar series
- UF Undergraduate research symposium
- NRDI meeting
