Learn about the ecology around us in the Florida Keys through interactive labs, discussions, and guided snorkel trips. This is the third day of a four-day series, but you can attend any day individually and still learn a lot!

After learning in class why corals are an important part of our ecosystems see their beauty up close during a snorkel out at the coral reef with our expert marine ecology guides. You will also participate in a sponge lab to look at the inner structure of what keeps our reefs clean.

*Non-snorkelers depart before lunch (at 11:30 AM). We encourage snorkelers to bring a bag lunch; the snorkeling program ends at 3:30 pm.
