An educational gathering of beekeepers for the purpose of gathering knowledge and skills in apiculture. Florida’s leading experts in beekeeping will be lecturing and giving outdoor open hive talks and demonstrations. Special lecture and hands on workshop about queen rearing will be conducted by Sierra Malnove from Florida Backyard Beekeepers Association.
Dr. Jamie Ellis, Professor of Entomology and Head of the Florida Bee Research Lab at University of Florida, will be the Keynote Speaker for the event.
