Imani J. Jackson is a Cultural Heritage Communications Ph.D. student at the University of Florida where she is also a graduate teaching assistant. The proudly Afro-Atlantic, eighth-generation North Floridian earned a mass communication BA at Grambling, JD at FAMU and an environmental law LLM and Latin American Studies graduate certificate at UF. Her research, writings and lectures regularly fuse law, journalism, culture(s) and environmentalist principles.
