Isabelle Gain is a junior from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, studying health education and behavior as well as teaching. Through this Fellowship, Gain is interested in learning more about environmental justice advocacy and effective science communication. In her professional life, she hopes to work in science education at the secondary and postsecondary levels and earn a Ph.D. in science communication. She is interested in researching the relationships between people and the planet.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors. You can usually find her hammocking by Lake Alice or cycling down the Hawthorne Trail on the weekends.
