Tess Segal is a sophomore from Fort Lauderdale, Florida majoring in sustainability and minoring in environmental justice and policy. Through this fellowship, Segal is interested in learning more about community-based environmental outreach, sustainable communities, and strategies for climate education. In her professional life, she hopes to mobilize communities to become better prepared for the climate crisis through environmental justice-focused urban planning and climate communication. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside, getting coffee with friends, making trash collages, and knitting.
“I’m excited to engage in multifaceted environmental education alongside a diverse cohort of dedicated peers.”
