SUMMARY:Junior Volunteer Application Deadline 2024
DESCRIPTION:Calling preteens and teens ages 14-17! Work alongside staff members this summer and share programs and exhibits with Museum visitors. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Museum’s “behind-the-scenes” work and make new friends! \nAn end-of-the-summer party celebrates accomplishments. Positions include docent\, Discovery Cart attendant\, Discovery Zone assistant\, and more! \nApplications are available online or at the Museum front desk beginning Friday\, Jan. 12\, 2024\, and must be postmarked or received by Monday\, Feb. 12\, 2024. Late applications are not accepted. Applicants must be at least 14 years old by May 31\, 2024. \nNew applicants undergo an interview in early March\, and if selected to serve\, attend a mandatory training on June 2. Preference is given to returning volunteers and new applicants with the strongest interviews\, experience\, availability and ability to commit to at least two weeks of service. \n\nJunior Volunteer Program info & application\n\n           Junior Volunteers can help as Discovery Cart attendants.
