Many species of birds live in Florida, and many more migrate through our state seasonally. Learn about museum collections with one of our ornithologists and then take an easy hike in park with us! The highly diverse preserve has almost 300 species of birds, as well as many other plants and animals to discover and identify.

- Theme: Birds
- Price: $12 per adult/child pair, includes park entrance fee. $6 per additional person
- Audience: Best suited for children in grades K-6
- Location: Meet at the La Chua Trailhead at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park
- Instructor: Ian Ausprey, Ph.D. student in the Florida Museum’s Ordway Lab of Ecosystem Conservation
