Join us for FREE froggy fun at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo! Learn about amphibians at this special nocturnal edition of Museum in the Parks and gear up for Amphibian Week (May 4-10)!
We’ll be joined by the FrogWatch team at Santa Fe College to learn how to identify the calls of local frogs and toads, understand their role in the ecosystem, and how to become a community scientist!
Museum in the Parks
Learn about Florida’s plants and animals by exploring museum collections, hiking and participating in activities with scientists and educators at Museum in the Parks! This program is aimed at K-6 graders.
These unique events give participants:
- An up-close look at Museum specimens to learn about the collections and their importance
- The chance to take part in activities relating to Florida’s wildlife
- A special hike and personalized tour of the creatures that live in local parks
Florida Museum on the Go!
Over the next year, we’ll be bringing the Florida Museum to the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo as well as many other places out on our community. You never know where the museum will be popping up next. Check our calendar or subscribe to our emails to keep up to date.
