We’re bringing live insects and real objects from our collections to show off and chat about. Test your nature knowledge and see if you can identify skull casts from common Florida species. Your favorite natural history museum is here for the Earth Day party!

We’re excited to bring the our Pop-Up Museum to the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo for their Party for the Planet: Spring into Action! celebration. There is an admission fee for this event at the zoo entrance. Much more information on our host’s website:

Pop-up Museums

We’re heading out into the community to bring the Florida Museum to favorite spots around town while our public exhibits building is closed for the big expansion project. We’ll be visiting farmers markets, libraries and other local events around Alachua County. You never know where the next Museum pop-up will surprise you.
