Splash into Science with us at the library! Our neat science sessions bring the water cycle into your hands. Perfect for elementary-aged learners looking for something new to do.

This four-part series consists of four free, 45-minute learning sessions aimed at bringing core science concepts to K-8 students in an informal setting. While the four parts of the series are meant to work together, each session is designed to also offer stand-alone science education.

If you miss one session, you can check the calendar and catch it at a different library branch.

These sessions do not require pre-registration but do have limited capacity.

Exploring the Water Cycle

In this first session of our Splash into Science series we’ll be learning all about the water cycle with a fun game. Join the adventure as a water molecule and see how water changes from solid to liquid to gas and travels around the world!

We begin each session with an interactive demonstration of a scientific concept, followed by hands-on activities that can be taken home.
