Join the Florida Museum of Natural History for a special screening of the film “Out of the Mist: A Silver River Story.” Filled with stunning wildlife imagery, this short documentary tells the historic, economic and environmental story of Silver Springs.

Emmy award-winning National Geographic filmmaker Mark Emery presents a view of Silver River and the Springs through the eyes of glass-bottom boat drivers. With a combined 200 years of experience, discover the local history as seen by the people who lived it.

The event is FREE, but pre-registration is required. There will be two screenings of the film (45 minutes each), followed by an audience Q&A with the filmmaker.

While the Museum’s permanent exhibit will be open, the Permian Monsters, Discovery Zone and Butterfly Rainforest exhibits will be closed.
