See how Alachua County middle school\, high school and college students transform “waste” into creative works of art! \nThe Florida Museum will display winning entries from the 21st annual Trashformations through Monday\, Dec. 2. \nApplication deadline: Nov. 15\, by 5 p.m. \nDivisions: Middle School\, High School and College \nPrizes for each division:  \n\nFirst Place – $400\nSecond Place – $300\nThird Place – $200\n\nFor more information or to complete the online application\, visit the Alachua County Solid Waste & Resource Recovery website or call Shelley Samec\, 352-548-1297. \n\n	Online Application	\n\n	Save the Date on Facebook	\n \n\n	\n\n	\n	\n		\n			\n			Museum Award		\n	 \n	\n	\n		 \nThe Director’s Natural History Award for Excellence in Recycling\, or Museum Award\, is given to the submission that best exemplifies the Florida Museum’s mission of “Inspiring people to care about life on Earth.” \nAwards are given to submissions in the Middle School\, High School and College Divisions. The prize is $75 per division and is provided by the Florida Museum’s Directors Office. \nAll prizes require a social security number and may take 4 to 6 weeks to receive. \n	\n\n\nThis event is made possible in part by the Alachua County Solid Waste & Resource Recovery Department and the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners.
