Congratulations to our 2016 winner!

This year the Florida Museum hosted its fourth ButterflyFest Facebook Photo Challenge! The challenge was designed to educate and promote awareness of wildlife and biodiversity through photography.

Photos had to include a depiction of wildlife in a natural setting.

The first-place winner received a gift basket, including Museum merchandise and eight Butterfly Rainforest exhibit tickets.

The Florida Museum will display the winning photo through Nov. 1. This photo will also be included on the ButterflyFest website, and published in The Gainesville Sun on Saturday, Oct. 1.
