Our members reception to welcome our newest exhibit Masters of the Night: The True Story of Bats was packed to the rafters with bat fans last night! The evening of May 23rd we opened our doors to one of the largest crowds of museum members we’ve hosted in a long time.
Members were treated to a fun presentation about bats by our Mammalogy Collections Manager Verity Mathis (featuring her favorite bat hat), and then turned loose to explore the new exhibit all about bats. The evening wrapped up with desserts and refreshments–and of course more bat chatting.
