We had a fantastic turn out for Trashformations 2017 this year, and there were so many stunning contributions this year! From sculptures to working lamps, entries small and large had visitors taking pictures and talking about ‘found art’, and thinking about recycling and reducing waste.
Our annual Trashformations contest, in partnership with Alachua County Solid Waste & Resource Recovery, is wonderfully popular for middle school through college age Alachua County students. The challenge is to make art out of reused and recycled material.
