GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Museum of Natural History and Santa Fe College Art Gallery are partnering to open Santa Fe’s newest art display Feb. 8 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, ceramics, film, photography and digital media created by university students and other Gainesville artists during the 2018 SciArt events hosted at the Florida Museum.
“Through the work of our participating artists we hope to display and celebrate the connection between art and science,” said Santa Fe gallery manager Kyle Novak.
The Santa Fe College Art Gallery will display the pieces Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 8-March 15.
“I’m excited to share with the Gainesville community the awesome work that has been created during the 2018 meetups,” said Florida Museum educator Chelsea Collison.
