The Randell Research Center is proud to participate in the 2023 Calusa Coast celebration.
The Calusa Coast event series takes place annually throughout March to celebrate Florida Archaeology Month. These events are organized as a collaborative effort to educate people about the archaeology and ethnography of the Indigenous peoples of southwest Florida.
During Calusa Coast events this year, participants will have the opportunity to journey into the past and learn about the Calusa and their Indigenous relatives through a variety of hands-on activities, lectures, and guided walks.
Some of these events require pre-registration or a nominal fee. Download the full schedule PDF.
