Our Tuesday afternoon tours allow you to journey into the past at a place where archaeology, history, and ecology meet to learn about the fascinating Calusa people and how they thrived in Pineland for thousands of years.  These tours are perfect for those interested in learning about the rich culture of the Calusa.

Participants should expect to walk at a leisurely pace and stand for just over one hour.  We suggest you wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water to drink.  Tours begin at 1pm; please arrive by 12:50pm.

Requested donations for visitors to the Calusa Heritage Trail are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for children 12 and under. Members of the Friends of the RRC are admitted free.  If you are unable to pay, please feel free to visit as a guest of our Friends organization.

Guided tours similar to this one are offered Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10am and 1pm from January 7, 2025 – April 16, 2025.

Income from donations and memberships makes it possible to maintain this important archaeological site.
