White, thin, highly vitreous paste that is smooth and translucent.

Background feldspathic glaze is well bonded to the paste, white or bluish-white in color, lustrous, and with little evidence of imperfection.

Decoration is overglaze enamel in red and gold, using the same motifs and techniques and floral motifs used in “Chinese Imari” porcelain overglaze decoration.

There is no blue underglaze design.
