Comentarios: Tlalpan White is part of the Valle Ware category of majolica that was made in Mexico City during the second half of the sixteenth century. Valle Ware is considered to be a cheap, lower quality version of the Mexico City Wares described by Lister and Lister (1982:30). It differs from the Mexico City Wares in its sandier, redder paste, and poor quality of craftsmanship and glaze application.
